We have been able to supply all areas with the comfortable and non-slip PowerPod matting.
Over the past few months we as company have been using and trialing many different types of mats, finding that slipping, weight, cleaning and lack of good fatigue results where being offered as problems from the supervisors and workers.
We had trialed the Powerpod mats over a 10 week period and felt that all areas of the processing plant would benefit, from the response of those who trialed them.
Following the receipt of our order, we removed all previously used matting from the process plant at the end of the days processing and the next day had all the PowerPod mats in place.
The response from the workers was extremely surprising. Some could not believe the difference in their legs, backs and body's at the end of the day. On following up after a week in use, the workers could notice the difference from other matting that was in use previously.
Using PowerPod has proved to be very good as we were able to purchase the size required for particular areas and using the different coloured matting and edging makes it easy for the workers to denote the mats required for the particular area, as before some areas would not have enough mats as other areas had earlier removed them.

Thanks again for the last seven Powerpodmats that have been recently delivered, we now have a total of 28 on our site all different shapes and many have been in operation for as along as 3 years.
When you first gave us a sample to try, I was very sceptical about how long they would last in the meat industry always being in contact with blood, fats,high temperature hot water and many different chemicals, but how wrong I was, as they have proven themselves to be excellent in all areas and we are now phasing out the rubber mats and replacing them with PowerPod.
Some of the main advantages we have found are:
The weight is probably the main advantage, being very easy to pick up and clean.
The design of the mat, the perforations makes it very friendly to remove product from.
We can have any shape made to our needs.
Coloured bevelled safety edging prevents tripping.
The material does not absorb product.
The workers believe that it is much more pleasant to stand on than any others we have used in the past.
