WOM poster-mat TM - A Powerful New Media Solution
The “Encore” fabric is microknit 100% polyester fabric which has been chemically surface modified via proprietary processes to provide excellent wicking and absorption properties. Unlike normal polyester, the surface modification gives the fabric an affinity for water so it will absorb spills rather than repel. This fabric has been specifically developed in order to provide both superior liquid wicking, as well as photographic image printing quality. The superior image quality is a function of the fine filament and weave of the fabric which gives excellent print resolution. Also, to improve the liquid holding capacity of the bar runners in service the bar runner products are textured.
Further, the “Encore” fabric is backed with nitrile rubber to add a durable non slip backing which provides a stable base for both the Barmat and WOM poster-mat TM products placements. The nitrile rubber is attached using a hot vulcanisation process, in a similar manner to dust control mat manufacture, and this provides a strong bond between the fabric and rubber via rubber flow and curing action during vulcanisation.
Durability of this product is dependant upon environment and traffic. In the average environment, they usually sustain greater than 40 washes without significant degradation of colour and fabric.
